Our Story
UniMapper was born from firsthand experience. As university students, we repeatedly found ourselves searching for information that was supposedly available (course details, admission requirements, career guidance) yet practically impossible to access quickly. Beyond that, we struggled with something deeper: actually learning the material. Studying alone, without the right support at the right moment, made the difference between understanding and simply memorizing.
After graduating, we built careers in the tech industry, working across software development, AI systems, and enterprise software. Over time, we kept coming back to the same questions: why hadn't this problem been solved? Why were students still left to navigate complex institutions and learn difficult material largely on their own?
We saw an opportunity to bridge this gap using artificial intelligence and data. By combining advanced AI technology with a deep understanding of higher education workflows, we built tools that don't just make institutional knowledge accessible: they actively support students in learning it.
